Elbow joint arthritis

Elbow joint arthritis

Elbow Joint Arthritis is a condition in which the cartilage that cushions the elbow joint gradually wears away, leading to pain, stiffness, swelling, and reduced movement. It may develop due to ageing (osteoarthritis), previous injuries, repetitive strain, or inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis. As the cartilage deteriorates, the bones may rub against each other, making everyday activities like lifting, gripping, and bending the elbow painful and difficult.
